 ASSESSMENT

To diagnose the injury correctly, the cause or mechanism of injury must be found. Initially a thorough 45 minutes assessment of your biomechanical structure and function is required.

A range of techniques are used to assess:
  • Muscle function (Range of motion & strength)
  • Joint function (Range & quality of motion)
  • Musculoskeletal alignment (Static posture)
  • Musculoskeletal function (Dynamic assessments)
  • Gait analysis
  • Footwear condition/suitablity (Please bring the footwear you commonly use)

 TREATMENT OPTIONS

Injuries are often due to poor biomechanics but can be easily improved with:
  • Correct footwear
  • Custom Orthotics
  • Joint Support (Rigid Taping & Kinesio Taping)
  • Exercise Prescription (Stretching and Strengthening)
  • Musculoskeletal Function Improvement (Kinesio Taping & Trigger Point Dry Needling)
